Bus and its Replicas

A bus and its replicas is a project combing a collection of silk screens that Houssam Bokeili began in 2004; it attempts to makes sense of the figure of "the bus" in the artist's post-war memories. By choosing the medium of seriogrophy or silk screen, a technique of mechanical reproduction, the artist raises questions about representations and memory.
